The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has been out of the country since May 7 2017 for his follow up medication over an undisclosed illness. He has reportedly been taking his medications in London for the past months.An international human rights organisation has called on president Muhammadu Buhari to resign and pave way for the acting president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to be confirmed as Nigeria’s substantive president.
The organization’s president, Jeff Okoroafor in a petition to Buhari said that the ongoing protest about the presidents resignation should be considered.
Acredible source in the presidency on Tuesday said that though the president has made immense improvement in the last couple of weeks, he was reported to have told his close aides recently about his resignation..
