Akwa Ibom State indigenes in diaspora cry out

A random survey of the opinions of many indigenes of Akwa Ibom state has revealed that despite the industrialisation mantra of the state government, no impact has yet been felt in the state.

While some citizens especially of the PDP divide cheered Mr. Udom Emmanuel for a job well done, citing the industries that have been established in the state, the Ibom Airways, renovation of some health centres and some roads constructed by the administration, citizens who are either neutral or in the APC divide have made very sensitive inquisitions into these claims.

Citizens have asked about the impact of the said industrialisation on the unemployment statistics of the state. They have asked about the accessibility of the acclaimed industries to Akwa Ibom youths.

Over 70 percent to the sampled indigenes demanded to know the staff strength of these acclaimed industries and why Akwa Ibom is still rated as number 2 unemployed state according to statistics.

However, many have directly criticised that the said industries are private and very small in size. Most importantly noting that, these industries are only concentrated in a particular region of the state with the other regions feeling none of its impact in terms of inclusion.

Some went to compare the present administration in the state to other state governments in the country who are receiving lesser Federal Allocations in terms of meaningful projects and infrastructure, decrying that Akwa Ibom state, despite her massive allocation from the federal government has not been up and doing to show any significant difference.

The summary however remains; what is the state allocation used for?

Obong Ekere encourages His supporters to disregard PDP violence

 and be focused
Obong Nsima Ekere in his resolve to ensure that the electorates exercise their franchise on Saturday has come out to remind Akwa Ibomites that giving-in to the violent opposition will only mean giving them a chance to continue in their inordinate dispositions for another 4 years.

He urged all and sundry to turn out en-masse come Saturday 9th March 2019 to make their voices heard loud and clear.

He reminded the electorates that earlier in the month during the joint force parade embarked upon by the 2 brigade of the Nigerian army in Uyo the Assistant Director of the Army public relations had maintained that the command will deal with anyone involved in political thuggery, ballot box snatching, arson and other electoral related offences.

Obong Ekere added that he is confident in the capability of the men and women of the joint forces  to ward off political miscreants across all flash points in the state.

He reminded the people that when good men remain quiet evil will always prevails. Charging them to make up their minds to take the bull by the horn, Obong Ekere asked the people to make history by voting for posterity and a better Akwa Ibom which they have long yearned for come Saturday.

Akwa Ibom Students rally for Obong Nsima Ekere

Earlier today, Nigerian students at the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) rallied in solidarity for Obong Nsima Ekere, assuring him of his victory at the polls on Saturday the 9th of March, 2019.

They praised Obong Nsima Ekere whom their leadership sited to have shown excellent antecedence in his commitment to community development as MD of the Niger Delta Development Commission.

They went ahead to reminisce on the various ill treatment of the present state government which reportedly had not paid any form of bursary to Akwa Ibom state students for the past three years.

Also important to note was their faith in the promise of Obong Nsima Ekere to ensure that the bursary for Akwa Ibom State students in tertiary Institution will not only be paid promptly but also raised to N25, 000 per head as against the meagre N10, 000 which has been in practice.

Akwa Ibom State Money-flowing as usual Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has had a tremendous number of pseudo-supporters who are dancing around him.

 As at today, there are
news flying around about supposed defectors from APC to PDP to canvass more votes for him return to the government house on Saturday.

Unknown to Governor Udom, these political fair weather friends are sticking around for the state money which he is freely flying around to entice the electorates against Saturday’s election.

Who doesn’t want free money?

However, there have been genuine concerns from well-meaning citizens questioning the recklessness displayed by Governor Emmanuel over the state funds which is currently at his disposal.

How does he intend to replace the state funds diverted into this reckless spree he sponsors?

It is obvious that the citizens will still take their stand come Saturday 9th march regardless of how much Udom is getting off the state treasury for voters disenfranchisement.

The despicable disposition of the state government has been condemned openly by many who still find the guts to speak out while many are already carried away with the gains abounding for them.

Nsima Ekere tows the direction of Inclusion for national relevance in Agriculture

As part of his campaign promises, Obong Nsima Ekere has re-echoed his plans to launch a graduate farmers’ Scheme and promote the participation of 500 youths from each of the 31 Local Government Areas in farming.

This idea according to Obong Ekere's is borne out of his drive and passion for the future and to contribute the country’s GDP.

Siting available statistics, Obong Ekere explained that Nigeria agricultural export grew from N33bn in 2017 to N302bn in 2018. He mentioned that with his planned investment in the innovative youths of the state,  Akwa Ibom state will contribute immensely to the Nigerian Economy.

He recounted that as detailed in his manifesto, massive oil palm production through large-scale, replanting of high-yielding seeds and distribution of short duration cultivars to replace and eventually phase out low yielding ones in the state will go a long way to make his target reached with ease.

He also mentioned his plans to introduce modern rice processing machinery into rice producing communities in the state to replace the inefficient and old ones that are currently available. Obong Ekere noted that on implementation of these blue prints, food security in the state and its environs will become common.

Nsima Ekere Promises to take up the Ibaka sea port as a first prior city

Obong Nsima Ekere, the gubernatorial flag bearer of the APC in Akwa Ibom State in an interview with newsmen today 6th March, 2019 has made known his dissatisfaction with the lack-lustre commitment of Udom Emmanuel’s administration towards the commencement of the Ibaka sea port project.

Obong Nsima Ekere explained that the Ibaka sea port is the biggest and most significant project in Akwa Ibom state capable of collapsing completely the unemployment figure in the state and as well as attracting further urbanisation and relocation of major production firms in the long run.

He reiterated that the establishment of the port would further increase the Significance of Akwa Ibom to neighbouring states within the region, especially where the government carefully ensures that the activities and processes in the port are friendly enough for logistic companies and agents to do business without any hitches.

Mr. Ekere hereafter enjoined the people of Akwa Ibom state to support his bid to the Hill Top mansion as the dreaded level of unemployment will be dealt with as his commitment to the Ibaka project remains unshaken.

Udom Emmanuel’s Ikpe rice farm scam dislodged by the clan Head of Ini L.G.A

In a conversation with news men in his palace at Mbiabet Ikpe community, Obong Etim Edward Akpan called on the business moguls, cooperate firms and any interested government to invest in the rice farm which has shown practical capacity to generate high returns.

This was after he had clearly elucidated to men of the press that the rice farm which began in 1950 has from inception been own and managed by private indigenes of the state. He further reiterated that the farm doesn’t belong to any agency or government as against the claims made by governor Udom Emmanuel.

The clan head further mentioned that they are in need of investors who will further develop the swamp to enhance the capacity of the rice farm.

Also speaking to the newsmen, the chairman of Mbiabet Ikpe Village Mr. Etim Okon added that the rice farm is owned by individuals and there is no form of assistance from the government.

They further complained that the rice mill in the community was in dire need of support as the facility is becoming obsolete. Mr. Josiah Udo Ekanem who is the mill operator had said that he himself renovated the mill for the community use and has not been able to access agricultural loan even after opening an account with the bank as directed.

Uyo Market Women Drum support for Obong Nsima Ekere

The Uyo Market Women association have called on all their members to vote for Obong Nsima Ekere on Saturday the 9th March, 2019.

The leadership of the Market women and her teaming members had vehemently decided that the market needs urgent attention from the government in order to be able to address some of their outstanding concerns bordering around efficient drainage and the entire market economy.

The people maintained that the hardship and unemployment rate in Akwa Ibom state is an indication for Akwa Ibom people to vote for Obong Nsima Ekere.

According to the women, lack of proper and prompt settlements such as pension arrears and all forms of payment by Udom Emmanuel has contributed drastically to the low economic performance of the traders.

The leadership of the market women said they have strategically planned to ensure that Obong Nsima Ekere emerges the next governor of Akwa Ibom state against all odds.

Busted again: Governor Udom Emmanuel and his lies

Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, the executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state in his usual way had announced to the world that he donated 200 pieces of apple computers to the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU).

However, findings from our source have shown that Governor Udom Emmanuel was lying as the building and networking of the ICT centre were funded by TETFUND (Tertiary Education Trust Fund), an agency of the federal government of Nigeria.

Report has it that president Buhari had given directives for the release of funds for the project which had been stalled since 2013.

On this premise, our under-performing Governor had to claim this project in a bid to score dubious political points without giving credit to the Federal Government.

See the computers below with TETFUND inscription on them

PDP has resorted to throwing bombs in Akwa Ibom State

The atrocities committed by the desperate PDP leadership and her thugs in Akwa Ibom state took a new turn as they have graduated from using guns to the use of explosives in the state.

During the APC agents’ training program in Uyo at the APC campaign ground against the State House/Gubernatorial elections slated to hold on Saturday 9th March, 2019, an improvised explosive device was unleashed on the people by suspected PDP thugs.

This incident which occurred at about 7:30pm on the 5th of march 2019 left many people critically injured as Three victims are currently lying unconscious in the hospital.

However, reports have confirmed that another person was wounded by a bullet based on sporadic shootings by the thugs after the blast.

According to eye witnesses, these desperation by Governor Udom Emmanuel is taken too far as the blood of an Akwa Ibom child does not worth any politicians selfish ambition.

Akwa Ibom PDP, Afraid of losing their point man “Igini

The party leadership of the PDP had earlier rushed to the court seeking an ex parte order to stall the removal of Mr. Mike Igini as the INEC REC in akwa Ibom state following the news of his likely redeployment.

This was of course, one of the many desperate moves of Governor Udom Emmanuel to keep their "party member, Mr. Igini" intact, realising that the entirety of Akwa Ibom sons and daughters will not return him to office given a fair electoral process.

The PDP administration is doing all it can without leaving any stones turned to have Mr. Igini who had help play their scripts during the Senatorial/presidential elections held last month.

Our sources have it that plans have been concluded by Mr. Igini and the PDP in Akwa Ibom State to rig the elections again in favour of the PDP.

However, the call for Mr. Mike Igini, the INEC REC for Akwa Ibom State to be redeployed, remains a clarion call from the Akwa Ibom people.

Breaking: Governor Udom Emmanuel calls President Buhari 2 days to the Gubernatorial Elections

Information reaching us from reliable sources have confirmed that Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel early this morning, Wednesday the 6th of March, 2019 put a call through to President Muhammadu Buhari again.

According to our source, the Governor was pleading with the President to support his second term ambition. He also promised to decamp to the APC when he wins the governorship election.

Indication from all quarters show that Governor Udom Emmanuel is really desperate and would do anything to get the support of the Federal Government during the March 9th polls.

Efforts to reach the Governor's Chief Press Secretary to confirm this story was not successful as his phone lines were not reachable when filling this report.

Why Ikot Ekpene people must reject Governor Udom Emmanuel - Ikot Ekpene Elders Forum

The leadership of Ikot Ekpene Elders forum led by Chief Idongesit Udoh has called on the Ikot Ekpene people to totally reject Deacon Udom Emmanuel on Saturday, the 9th of March, 2019 during the gubernatorial polls.

Speaking to one of our correspondents after an emergency meeting to address some important issues in the Local Government, Chief Idongesit said, "Governor Udom Emmanuel hates the Ikot Ekpene people and be must be rejected totally".

He pointed out the banning of bikes in Ikot Ekpene as a serious problem Ikot Ekpene leaders have neglected to persist for over a year.

"The PDP Administration is obviously unconcerned about our people. Just look at the Control Post Junction or the Four Point by Sheraton Hotel. Udom is heartless. We are mobilising seriously to vote for Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of March, 2019".

Udom Emmanuel: the chief vote buyer of our generation

Vote buying is a punishable offence in the Nigerian law but it is so disheartening how a man who has been preaching #onlygod is sinking the State's funds hook line and sinker into a rigorous highly coordinated vote buying exercise.

It has been gathered that the governor had disbursed a million naira to each polling unit for vote buying across various wards and Local Governments during the February 23rd elections.

Please where did Governor Udom Emmanuel get this kind of money from that he could not pay pensioners for over 3 years in office?

It is on record that right from the inception of Deacon Udom’s administration, he has always informed the masses that there was no money.

Where did governor Udom Emmanuel get thirty one (31) billion naira for vote buying excercise in Akwa Ibom State?

Oruk Anam Local Government Indigenes call out Udom for marginalisation

The people of Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state have come out to condemn the insensitive marginalisation carried out on them from a government led by their in-law Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.

The leaders of Oruk Anam communities have complained that since the inception of Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel’s government, they cannot point out any outstanding project undertaken in their LGA despite his relationship with them as a son in law. The youths have expressed their sore disappointment in the government towards the development of their Local government which is still very rural.

This has resulted in a massive decision by the people to vote for Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of March, 2019. Speaking to our correspondent, a relative to Governor Udom's wife said "The people of Oruk Anam have vowed to dissociate themselves with a disappointing in-law who has treated them shamefully. We will support Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of March, 2019.

Is violence the only option for the PDP?

Since his Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio left the PDP, most members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom State have been singing songs of Warsaw saw war when they themselves are the warlords.

Do a deep profiling and find out who most of these top PDP chieftains are, starting from the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke who is a renown cultist in Akwa Ibom State.

What of Prince Ukpong Nsima Akpabio?
What of Rt. Hon Nsikak Ekong, the king of Ikalabo boys?
What of Senator Bassey Albert popularly known as OBA?
What of the PDP publicity secretary, Ini Ememobong?

Please do not allow anyone to deceive you about the Warsaw saw war phrase

#Factsyoumustknow

The war phrase started from the PDP who declared after Senator Akpabio's defection to the APC that it was now a do or die affair for them to survive politically. On this premise, Senator Akpabio made a statement to reply them "If you say it is do or die affair, it means that you have declared war just as Warsaw declared a war on Germany who were at that time the world power.

On that note he said those in PDP calling for war should not forget that "Warsaw saw war and war saw Warsaw". Which implies that the people of Warsaw who declared war on a world power saw the war they were looking for when they collapsed and surrendered to Germany in September 27, 1939.

As the police keeps parading more PDP thugs, who then is the real Warsaw?

PDP cheap ploy to blackmail Obong Nsima Ekere

Before I say anything, I have to remind you of the popular message that says "When a man is desperate, he can do anything".

Let me start by enlightening my dear readers about the video that is currently trending on the social media by some PDP gullible minds about Obong Nsima Ekere and His Excellency Comrade Adams Oshiomhole about importing thugs to Akwa Ibom State.

I wish to categorically state that this news is false and an acted script of the PDP to get public sympathy considering.

Confirming to us, a source from within the PDP camp has told us that Governor Udom Emmanuel, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong, Senator Bassey Albert and Engr. Ufott Ebong are the brain behind the drama seen in the video.

According to the source who spoke in anonymity, "Governor Udom paid 50 million for these team of experts liars to arrange armed boys clothed with police gadgets to parade other PDP thugs and take videos just to blackmail the APC".

He said "Saturdays election has made Udom so desperate and he would do anything to remain in power for another four years. What you saw in the video was a plan just to tarnish the image of the APC chieftains"

Do not forget that a few days to the Presidential and National Assembly elections, Engr. Uffot Ebong, a Senior SA to the Governor on Technical Matters and Due Process was caught by the police with over 50 fake police vehicles parked in his house.

Meanwhile the relevant police authorities have been notified of this development to take immediate action.

Does Governor Udom Emmanuel deserve a second term?

Tell your self the truth, do you think Governor Udom Emmanuel deserve a second term after he refused to pay Primary school retirees their pension since 2015?

Does Governor Udom Emmanuel deserve a second term after he retrieved the appointment letters of 5000 Akwa Ibom teachers employed during the administration of Senator Godswill Akpabio?

Do you think Governor Udom Emmanuel deserves a second term after he disrespected the memories of those who lost their lives at the Reigners bible church on the 10th of December 2016 by setting that day for his reelection rally in 2018?

Does Governor Udom Emmanuel deserve a second term after over 200 parents lost their jobs in Akwa Savings and Loans which closed down under his watch as an experienced banker with over 25 years banking experience?

Does Governor Udom Emmanuel deserve a second term after he could not manage the security crisis that crippled Etim Ekpo and Ukanfun?

Oh! Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio the Uncommon Leader

1. Never in Akpabio's time as a Governor was Akwa Ibom State rated or even mentioned as one of the states with the highest level of unemployment.

2. Never in Senator Akpabio’s time as the Governor were teachers’ salaries unjustly deducted by the State Government for no good reasons.

3. Never in Akpabio’s tenure did civil servants complain of not receiving their promotion arrears.

4. Never in Senator Akpabio’s tenure did we hear that people’s building were demolished by his Commissioner for Works without due compensation.

5. Never in Akpabio’s tenure did we witness massive killings and blood sheds as witnessed in Ikot Ekpene, Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun in the last 3 years.

6. Never in Akpabio’s time as the Governor did we hear that even local banks were relocating from one local government to another because of security concerns.

7. Never in Akpabio’s tenure as a Governor did we hear that the Akwa Ibom State government was being investigated by the EFCC for corruption or money laundering.

Today, the story is not the same for Akwa Ibom people

Though Udom Emmanuel and his media aides are trying very hard to deceive Nigerians to believe that their government has created a lot of jobs for the people of Akwa Ibom State, facts from the National Bureau of Statistics reveal that Akwa Ibom State is ranked the number 2 State with the highest level of unemployment in Nigeria.

It is also a confirmed fact that Udom Emmanuel’s administration has taken joy in deducting the salaries of school teachers for no good reasons. Is this not wickedness? I shall leave you to be the judge. If you need prove, visit any public school and ask a teacher.

It is only in Udom’s administration that people’s houses are demolished and due compensations are not given before the demolition. Do not forget too soon that a few months ago; Mr. Ephraim Inyangeyen who doubles as Udom’s commissioner for Works and evil executioner was caught on camera bulldozing the home of a widow at Etinan, without paying compensation. The videos are all over the social media if you care to see: https://web.facebook.com/michael.ekpo/videos/10216810087621176/.

Udom’s inability to tackle security issues in Akwa Ibom State is no longer a hidden gist. Never in the history of Akwa Ibom have we witnessed such killings and bloodshed in Ikot Ekpene, Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun. If, we have a governor who is incapable of handling security issues in just 3 local governments within 3 years, how can he handle security concerns in the 31 LGA’s of Akwa Ibom State? Don't we derserve a more capable hand?

It is a shame that as a result of the crisis at Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun 2 banks had to shut down operations. Bank of Industry, Ikot Akpa Nkuk, relocated to Ikot Ekpene while Prudent Co-operative Micro-finance bank closed up throwing 26 staff back to the overcrowded labour market. All this happened because of Udom Emmanuel.

It is only in Udom’s tenure that the EFCC has marked the Akwa Ibom State government for investigation as a result of the illegal redrawal of 6.5 billion Naira; that we do not know what he is using it for. http://thenationonlineng.net/efcc-probes-akwa-ibom-over-wi…/.

For how long will you continue to suffer in the hands of an insensitive leader called Udom Emmanuel?

Let your PVC speak for you on the 9th of March, 2019

Vote for Obong Nsima Ekere

Pause for a while and think

Think of where Senator Akpabio’s administration took us and how fast Governor Udom's administration has brought us down. Today, we have been rated as one of the states with the highest level of unemployment even when Udom and his media aides are celebrating toothpick and plastic cup industry.

Think of the number of people that have lost their jobs in Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun. Think of parents who need to send their children to school and are out of job from the closure of the Akwa Savings and loans.

Think of those who lost their loved ones because of Udom’s inability to handle security issues in just 2 Local Government Area in the state.

Don’t you think that Akwa Ibom deserves the best?
Don’t you think that Udom needs to be voted out?
Don’t you think that Akwa Ibom Deserves Obong Nsima Ekere in 2019?

Buses of PDP Thugs accosted in Obot Akara by the Ikot Ekpene Police Area Command

The PDP and its leadership are bent on re-election of their flag bearer Udom Gabriel Emmanuel come Saturday 9th of March 2019. The extent of their desperation is however worrisome, considering their new found love for thuggery and violence even while they parade themselves as a peace seeking party in the state.

Yesterday 5th march, 2019, buses of thugs from diaspora were imported into the state and while en route to Akwa-Ibom state to perpetuate mayhem, they were ceased by the police men who were on duty by Obot Akara Local government along the federal road linking Abia state with Akwa Ibom.

Our sources have it that calls came in swiftly from top official of the state government to the squad leader of the police men at the scene soon after the information was spreading like wild fire. But the police team leader whose name is withheld for security reasons deliberately put off his mobile phone to avoid any interference from the government.

We know the commissioner of police in Akwa Ibom state to be intolerant to hoodlums and thugs who have been at large in the state under the covering of their political paymaster in the government and strongly believe that these violent thirsty thugs will face the full wrath of the law in no distant time.

PDP thugs attack Nsima Ekere's Campaign Ground

Barley less than four days to the gubernatorial elections in Akwa Ibom State, a significant number of thugs invade the campaign ground of Obong Nsima Ekere, shooting sporadically at the innocent electorates on Tuesday the 5th of March, 2019.

Confirming the incident to our reporters, a live witness who narrated the story said,
"This evening, while the retraining of APC polling agents for next Saturday’s Governorship election was ongoing at the APC Campaign Office, an improvised explosive device was thrown into the compound by unknown persons from across the street. Almost at the same time, security personnel at the venue reported that a dark-coloured Toyota Camry pulled up and a gun-wielding male stepped out and fired sporadically into the air before getting back into the vehicle when spotted by some locals as a popular PDP thug".

Confirming if any casualties were witnessed, our source said no one was killed but many people were injured as a result of running for safety.

Recall that a day to the earlier cancelled presidential election, more than 400 PDP thugs were caught by security operatives in a hotel belonging to a PDP chieftain. In a similar manner, some PDP thugs imported from Warri and Port Harcout by Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong the Senatorial Candidate of the PDP and Hon. Idongesit Ntekpere were also caught by security operates in Obot Akara for causing violence.

The PDP family are ready for war during the gubernatorial elections from all indications according to an APC chieftain. He said "APC is a peaceful party and we call on relevant security agencies to apprehend these culprits and let them face the law”

Osinbajo arrives in Akwa Ibom to support Obong Nsima Ekere

The vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo arrives Uyo today to a massive crowd. The hugely popular pastor dropped in to support the APC aspirant, Nsima Ekere, former DG of NDDC. He was met at the airport by Senator Godswill Akpabio and other prominent politicians from Akwa Ibom State.

Akwa Ibom has become the focal point for the national APC, as it is a former PDP state that has now mostly switched to APC in the sentiments of the people. Over the last year, most of the important politicians of the state have left the PDP and have joined the APC, including the highly popular former governor - Godswill Akpabio.

It is expected that the saturday election in Akwa Ibom State will go to the APC, with Obong Nsima Ekere turning out to be the winner.

Mike Igini: A team player rather than an Umpire

It is no longer news that Mike Igini, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of INEC in Akwa Ibom State has suddenly become the most popular REC in Nigeria as a result of his bribery scandal and partisan affiliation during the February 23rd, 2019 Presidential election in Akwa Ibom State.

In numerous interviews, Mike Igini has claimed that he was never biased or a member of any political party yet there are many questions waiting to be answered that he has not attempted.

If Mike Igini claims that he was never a PDP member in the just concluded February 23rd Presidential elections, why did he subject the card readers used in the Local Government Area of Senator Godswill Akpabio to tight scrutiny but deliberately refused to do same for other Local Government Areas?

If Mike Igini was never partial, why did he uphold the Obot Akara result that was cancelled by the Returning Officer for the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District during the National Assembly election?

If Mike Igini was never partial why did he have the result for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District collated and announced at Uyo Local Government Area under his watch instead of the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District as required by the law?

If Mike Igini was never partial, how come all the INEC Adhoc Staff trained for the Presidential Elections were all PDP members?

When did an INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner become a card carrying member of a political party?

When did an INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner become a team player instead of an unbiased umpire?

Could it be true that Mike igini was paid 2 Millions Dollars by Governor Udom Emmanuel to frustrate the true mandate of the Akwa Ibom people?

See photo's attached and JUDGE FOR YOURSELF as the unbiased Mike Igini pays a courtesy visit to Governor Udom Emmanuel with other staff of INEC, prior to the February 23rd elections.

MIKE IGINI: You cannot truncate the will of the Akwa Ibom people

It is very sad that Akwa Ibom people have allowed a Delta State man play a critical role in deciding who governs them.

Top of the matter was Mr. Mike Igini singlehandedly attempting to handover Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong, popularly known as Ukarapa to the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.

It is no news that Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong who can hardly take a single step without a walking stick remains and unpopular and rejected choice by the people of Ikot Ekpene due to his poor records as the former deputy governor of AKwa Ibom State.

Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong was impeached as the deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2005 by a 23 member panel on account of corruption and disloyalty to his former boss, Ex-governor Obong Victor Attah.

What will be the future of the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District if such man that was sacked as a deputy governor returns to the seat of power?

What will be the future of Ikot Ekpene people if we do not rise up and demand that the INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu gives us an unbiased umpire?

Mike Igini did his worst on the 23rd of February 2019 during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections since he contested the elections against other political parties.

While we Cry, Akwa Ibom needs peace

In the heat of ensuing political tension not from hatred or ethnic bigotry but from sheer marginalisation and incompetence/outcry of wrongly treated citizens.

Deacon Udom Emmanuel in his struggle for re-election has been preaching a stupid propaganda of peace yet again to the gullible among the citizens.

Ask yourself, is Akwa Ibom in any war crisis?

The Man that is purportedly seeking peace for the state had earlier in 2018 been silent for over 6 months on the crisis at Etim Ekpo and Ukanfun LGA which had claimed many lives, properties and rendered many homeless.

An AKTC bus was burnt on Akwa Ibom soil alongside passengers, young women were raped and travellers plying the road robbed and some killed. Some Indegenes of Etim Ekpo fled their homes for survival only for the Deacon/peace preacher to surface when it was obvious that elections were approaching closely.

One may decide to ask – If the Etim Ekpo chrisis had been a case in Onna LGA, would the governor show such demeaning and recalcitrant response?

May I bring to your notice that no good government overlooks  crisis claiming lives of Innocent citizens of its people.

Is Udom Emmanuel really a man of peace or just a desperate public office beneficiary trying to save his head?

The level of hypocrisy displayed by this fellow is beyond comprehension and very shameful, especially knowing that this is coming from a supposed dedicated Christian who is a deacon in the church.

Udom is not good for the people of Akwa Ibom State, please reject him on the 9th of March, 2019.

PDP runs to court just to keepMike Igini

Many Akwa Ibom Residents have started questioning the jurisdiction of the  Court in deciding which INEC staff the commission should redeploy or not.

With the latest news making rounds on the social media, an Abuja high court yesterday, gave an injunction to stop Mr. Mike Igin, the INEC REC of Akwa Ibom State from being redeployed to another state.

Rising from the above issue, one would wonder why the court should step into a matter that is crucial to the future of Akwa Ibom State and making pronouncements without considering the plea of the electorates.

One would wonder why Justice O. A. Musa of the Federal High Court in Abuja had to postpone the hearing of the suit till the 21st of March, 2019 when the gubernatorial elections must have finished  on the 9th of March, 2019 and the winner announced.

Could this be a ploy by the PDP to ensure that the biased umpire called Mike Igini stays to make their planned script a reality?

Could it be that some High Court Judges have become party to another conspiracy to rob Akwa Ibom people their well deserved mandate just as they did on the 23rd of February during the Presidential and National Assembly elections?

Mike Igini is a PDP member and has since lost his integrity for money.

Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, Pushing education in the state to Extinction

Akwa Ibom children had been known Nationwide to be domestic maids serving in cities all around the country, most of them with no opportunity of acquiring primary education.

It is on record that in the past administration led by HE Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Akwa Ibom state was one of the states enjoying free and compulsory education for children at primary school level.

It was compulsory to the extent that the state government had to set up a special task force to hunt for children who were hawking on the streets during school hours. Their parents would be invited and questioned to know why they would allow their children skip school for such activities.

The education of every child became a paramount concern of the government and all the parents needed to do were to buy uniforms and books for their children. Free exercise books were also distributed to the pupils across the public primary schools (Not private).

On the resumption of state duty by Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, the Free and compulsory education policy of the government was trashed and till date it remains so. Any Akwa Ibom resident can unanimously agree with me that the population of out-of-school children in Akwa Ibom state has since exploded, especially in the heat of the dilapidating economic situation in the state.

Payment of Bursary which is undeniably a very important assistance from the state government to its indigene at Tertiary education level has also found its way to the history lane of Akwa Ibom state.

Of what use is a government that pays deaf ears to the educational need of her people in the 21st century?

Are Akwa Ibom students and parents comfortable with this level of negligence?

If you want to secure for child future through education, vote for Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of of March, 2019.

Cult wars have ravaged Akwa Ibom through Udoms tenure

Udom often falsely claims that Akwa Ibom has been peaceful under his tenure. But this is wrong. Statistics by various humanitarian groups, as well as local opinion shows that the largest incidence of insecurity happened under the Udom tenure.

In the Ukanafun area, a cult war waged for more than a year while the governor sat helpless. Even though the main cultists were known, because a couple of them were connect with politicians currently in the PDP, nothing was done against them. The entire area lived in insecurity and fear -with shootings becoming a daily matter.

In Ikot Ekpene and Uyo, cultists walked into the market with guns and simply took goods as the traders scampered. This state of affairs lasted for more than 6 months, while Udom travelled out to relax in Lagos.

The problem ultimately had to be solved by the federal government on the insistence of the local senators like Godswill Akpabio. The federal government sent in soldiers, who quelled the insecurity and restored back peace to the state.

The problem has not really been that Udom did not see the issue - he was just too weak to rise up against the sons of politicians who he needed for re-election. For that reason, he let the local wars continue, and tolerated the death of citizens as the price to pay for his ambition.

The perpetual Unrepentant anti-workers Governor called Udom Emmanuel

Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has always shown himself to be grossly inconsiderate at every opportunity with active workers and job applicants alike.

Gratuities, leave grants and promotion entitlements of civil servants in Akwa Ibom state have been subject matters relegated to the trash can of history.

It is very despicable and unbelievable that primary school pensioners are yet to receive their pension in Akwa Ibom State despite the bailout funds provided by the federal government since 2018.

While Udom Gabriel Emmanuel resumed office in 2015, about 5000 teachers which were recruited into the civil service in the state were arrogantly relieved of their would be job before resumption under the guise of insufficient funds for payment of their remunerations.

Those sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom who had high hopes of meaningful engagement were stranded after being offered appointment letters.

In November 2018, The state civil service called again for applications from suitable candidates to fill purportedly vacant positions. This of course had a rapid response from the innocent unemployment stricken masses of the state. Little did they know that Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and his cabinet have not deceased from their age long deplorable conducts and misdemeanour.

How could a state government that has the interest of its citizens at heart treat her people with such disdain and chronic disrespect, relentlessly defacing the confidence of her workers and aspiring youths in the government and fairness of her policies.

It is pertinent that Akwa Ibom sons and daughters take the right decision at the polls because elections will be over and its euphoria will be gone.

The big question is – Will Deacon Udom drop his dubious mannerism?

I guess the answer is NO

So, vote for Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of March, 2019 because the change that we need is here.

Buhari declares: Mike Igini, INEC REC, stole Akpabio mandate

![](https://d2mxuefqeaa7sj.cloudfront.net/s_AA8AB747AFF5B0801B143BC7CDBFC650AD00AD4792BB6409FD6EE3FA99CC6CCB_1551772696346_image.png)

The embattled INEC REC in Akwa Ibom, Mike Igini (pictured sitting with Gov Udom Emmanuel), has been accused by various quarters of colluding with the state Governor in order to make APC lose the election in Akwa Ibom State.

A prominent voice has now been added - Buhari has named Mike Igini as an INEC umpire who he believes is corrupt and is working against the APC.

Rumours to that effect had been swirling around the political scene for a while, but after the various happenings during the presidential election, including the movement of the result from Ikot Ekpene to Uyo senatorial district, it has become obvious that Mike Igini is not an impartial participant in the election.

The political calculation within the current Akwa Ibom State Government had always been that Atiku would win the election, and with that, “all sins” would be forgotten. Now that the federal Government has shown that it will remain APC, there is clear fear within the state government, and by the INEC REC about election manipulation.

With the tough anti-corruption stance of the federal government, it is becoming clear that the days are numbered for all those involved in manipulating elections.

AFTER ALL THE ‘ONLY GOD’ AND THE CHEAPENING OF CHURCH LEADERS

The PDP as a party is filled with a plethora of hoodlums and well known cultists from the National assembly to local government and villages /clans. Yet their flag bearer who is a deacon in the church works hand in hand with them to carry out his dirty assignments and turns back to drag some unsuspecting churches and her members into propaganda of peace and unity even when he has countlessly proven himself to be a bigot.

The movement of these hoodlums in the party had been long made public by the numerous cars burnt and people killed on the earlier scheduled presidential election date even after the election had been postponed by INEC in Obot Akara, the home of Engr. Christopher Ekpenyong their party senatorial candidate whom they have seemingly rigged in to the senate.

Information has it that HE Udom Gabriel Emmanuel goes around enticing some church leaders with fat envelops to canvass for his re-election, realising the extent of failure his government has recorded for the past 3 years.

Those top church leaders have manipulated some worshipper to suddenly forget that Akwa Ibom state once had her future leaders going to school without having to pay school fees. Insinuating that bringing in a new governor from another party who is a also a christian and known for his deep passion for the people is a call for war and is seriously gibberish.

Akwa Ibom citizens know what they want and what Udom Emmanuel has been doing. They have promised to make their opinion known at the polls. The Christians in Akwa Ibom are aware that cultism has not and will never be part and parcel of the church system and will put an end to his  #ONLYGOD hypocrisy.

Akwa Ibom Needs APC Ernestly

The extent to which the federal government has taken interest in the completion of federal roads and other projects around Akwa Ibom and her environs is worth commending, particularly for its effect and contribution to the the smooth movement of economic activities for the common man in the state.

The Aba – Ikot Ekpene federal road which has been a dead trap and also a very significant route affecting to a high degree the tempo of economic activities within Akwa Ibom State  has been awarded for construction alongside the Calabar-Itu high way which has been a dead trap for decades.

The dualization of these roads mean a lot to the people of the state, especially the common man and traders  in Ikot Ekpene and Uyo markets who are buying materials for trading from Aba and those running businesses with their supply chain in the east.

The Ibakka Sea port project, a federal project which had been suffering from a less than required attention from the federal government and ALSCON both situated in the state are now under the federal spotlight.

What will it profit us as a people to play opposition or stand aloof at a time where it is obviously Akwa Iboms’ time to stamp her footprint in the nation’s sand and we cannot miss this for posterity and for our sake.

Akwa Ibom is ready to move with President Muhammadu Buhari to the #NextLevel

The dark side of Mike igini’s Innocence

Mike Igini, the Akwa Ibom Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), had denied manipulating the Presidential and National Assembly election results in the state as conveyed during his interview with the news agency of Nigeria (NAN) in uyo. He said the allegation was not true and that the election was not manipulated.

Mr Igini debunked that elections were won and lost at the polling units, saying the REC cannot be at the polling units from the beginning to the close of the polls considering the 2,980 polling units in the state.

Remarkably, according to him, he was not in any of those polling units from the opening to the close of the polls.

Information circulating in public which is very cogent and apt has it that the PDP had rigged the elections heavily and very successfully even in the LGA of the embattled Sen. Akpabio.

Is Mr. Igini taking a position that since he was not present at the different polling units in the state he should not be held accountable for the activities of the other RECs at LGAs and units working with and under him?

How does he explain the original electoral materials finding its way into the hands of the PDP members in the first place and the recourse of the materials back to the INEC officials in charge of the Local government for collation?

Also, considering that we are talking about a Local Government that is an APC strong hold. If this level of laxity and compromise can be perpetuated by the INEC officials working under him in a place like Ukana, the home town of Senator Akpabio we can only imagine what had transpired in the other local governments which are actually strong holds for the PDP candidates.

Mr. Igini’s claim of innocence is unacceptable and he cannot be vindicated from being the biased electoral umpire that he is on the guise of his inability to be at every polling unit. It is a clear show of irresponsibility and collusion and many Akwa Ibom sons and daughters are aware of this, despite his pseudo-integrity appeal.

Mike Igini is a PDP member

The Paradox of the Udom’s Peace propaganda

How does it sound to realise that the same man declaring false peace is the Author of a scam Ecumenical worship centre where Muslims and Christians – from different religions with a long history of austerity and deep animosity are supposed to worship in simultaneously.

I can boldly tell you that any mind capable of imaging this is either very wicked or just looking bent on scoring cheap points in the eyes of the easily dissuaded and uninformed citizens of the state.

A typical mosque has horn speakers feeding loud noise to its environment throughout their activities and even a young child who knows about Islam would realise that it is very religiously legal for Muslims to kill unbeliever (infidels), who are not practising their religion. Is this man not simply setting fire in our bosoms?

It might interest you to know that he has also pushed his calamitous frustration to churches where there are some untrained mind and many who have suspended their thinking faculties in the name of religion, inciting that APC is a religion for Muslims and Jihadist and shouldn’t be welcomed by the church and her members.

Many have failed to realise that APC is a political party and not an Islamic outfit as against the teaming core religious Muslims which he had hitherto carefully planned to attract into the state with their followers to the same worship centre with Christians. Is this not sounding so foolish already?

Udom has been sowing seeds of hatred from some churches against Obong Nsima Ekere and Senator Akpabio who are Christians and yet he claims to unsuspecting minds that he is bargaining for peace.

Buying religious leaders in the state with money to induce unwholesome babblings and insinuations about a movement that will bring good to Akwa Ibom citizens is a dangerous height of wickedness one man can employ in his life-time.

We all know that he who sees all is watching…

Udom Emmanuel is evil - Reject him

With Governor Udom Emmanuel, our Children do not have a future

What happened to the free and compulsory education Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio’s administration gave our children?

Why has Udom Emmanuel suddenly returned our promising Akwa Ibom children to the streets to sell pure water and hawk all sort of items?

What did our children do to Governor Udom Emmannuel?

No wonder, our position in WAEC continues to drop since Governor Udom Emmanuel became the Governor of Akwa Ibom State?

No wonder the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic recruitment in 2016 was a mess. Majority of those recruited for the lecturing job were all under-qualified as confirmed by 2 top ranking staff of the institution who choose to remain anonymous.

For how long will Akwa Ibom people continue to endure the darkness that looms with Governor Udom Emmanuel who claims to be a church deacon with an attitude that leaves more to be desired?

JUDGE FOR YOURSELF and make a choice between moving with Obong Nsima Ekere to the #NEXTLEVEL or following our #Mr. #Industra*#LIE*#sation

PDP in Akwa Ibom State worried as news of Mike Igini’s redeployment spreads

Information reaching us from very credible sources have confirmed that the PDP camp seemed to be in turmoil on Monday night, the 4th of March, 2019 following the wild spread information of the possible redeployment of the INEC REC in Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Mike Igini.

In a group chat, one of the PDP members called for their members to approach the court in order to stop the REC, Mr. Mike Igini from being redeployed.

Judging from the above call by a PDP member in the group chat, the news of an Abuja High Court injunction on the redeployment of Mike Igini is an indication that Justice O. A. Musa of the Federal High court who gave an injunction about Igini’s redeployment, is working for the PDP.

The source who confirmed this development to us said “The PDP’s master plan to rig the election in Akwa Ibom State is Mike Igini that is why all efforts are being made to retain him”.

Governor Udom Emmanuel the rejected Saul of our time

Before July 2013, who knew Deacon Udom Emmanuel in Akwa Ibom State?

Against the wish of many people, God used Senator Godswill Akpabio the Samuel of our time to anoint the head of Deacon Udom Emmanuel.

Instead of Udom to be grateful to God for an opportunity to serve the people even when he never had a party card, he started throwing stones at the same person who rescued him from being an employee to an employer.

The story of betrayals are not new. Friends have betrayed friends and even brothers have betrayed brothers. But the moral question we should ask ourselves is: are you sure another man will never pay you 10 folds of what you wished your brother?

Life is a lesson which many people seem to forget.

Just as the oil left Saul’s head when he was still thinking he was king, the oil has left Governor Udom Emmanuel's head and Akwa Ibom people will reject him on the 9th of March, 2019.

His father-in-law has turned against him
His cousins have all decamped to follow Obong Nsima Ekere and APC family

Our people usually say that charity begins from home. If Governor Udom Emmanuel cannot put his house in order, what is the guarantee that he can take Akwa Ibom State to the #NextLevel?
