The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council has inaugurated a Committee tasked with the responsibility of verifying applications for new Chapels in the Council.
The Committee which was inaugurated today at the Council's Congress has Barr Okwung Otioro as Chairman and Valiant Okonko as Secretary.
Other Members include, Wisdom Jacob, Udeme Hosea and Aniekan Ukpong.
Inaugurating the Committee, the Chairman of NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Council, Elder Patrick Albert charged the Committee members to give their best to ensuring any Chapel that emerges is befitting the demands of a Chapel as enshrined in the Constitution of NUJ.
He added " We believe your commitment will chart the course for the growth of the Union with your objectives recommendations ".
