The party leadership of the PDP had earlier rushed to the court seeking an ex parte order to stall the removal of Mr. Mike Igini as the INEC REC in akwa Ibom state following the news of his likely redeployment.
This was of course, one of the many desperate moves of Governor Udom Emmanuel to keep their "party member, Mr. Igini" intact, realising that the entirety of Akwa Ibom sons and daughters will not return him to office given a fair electoral process.
The PDP administration is doing all it can without leaving any stones turned to have Mr. Igini who had help play their scripts during the Senatorial/presidential elections held last month.
Our sources have it that plans have been concluded by Mr. Igini and the PDP in Akwa Ibom State to rig the elections again in favour of the PDP.
However, the call for Mr. Mike Igini, the INEC REC for Akwa Ibom State to be redeployed, remains a clarion call from the Akwa Ibom people.
