Akwa Ibom Needs APC Ernestly

The extent to which the federal government has taken interest in the completion of federal roads and other projects around Akwa Ibom and her environs is worth commending, particularly for its effect and contribution to the the smooth movement of economic activities for the common man in the state.

The Aba – Ikot Ekpene federal road which has been a dead trap and also a very significant route affecting to a high degree the tempo of economic activities within Akwa Ibom State  has been awarded for construction alongside the Calabar-Itu high way which has been a dead trap for decades.

The dualization of these roads mean a lot to the people of the state, especially the common man and traders  in Ikot Ekpene and Uyo markets who are buying materials for trading from Aba and those running businesses with their supply chain in the east.

The Ibakka Sea port project, a federal project which had been suffering from a less than required attention from the federal government and ALSCON both situated in the state are now under the federal spotlight.

What will it profit us as a people to play opposition or stand aloof at a time where it is obviously Akwa Iboms’ time to stamp her footprint in the nation’s sand and we cannot miss this for posterity and for our sake.

Akwa Ibom is ready to move with President Muhammadu Buhari to the #NextLevel
