THE MASQUERADE IN MKPAT ENIN POLITICS

Democracy as we all know is an avenue where political interest can be expressed without any interference.
Nigeria as a country enjoy modern democracy from 1999 election which put different political office holders in different political offices.
In Mkpat Enin LGA, we have 4 clans ( ukpum minya, Ikpa ibom, Ikpa ikono and ibiaku) with 14 political wards. Before now Mkpat Enin LGA has been enjoying peaceful election since 1999 because of the existing political permutation. In 1999 Ukpum minya took turn in chairmanship position in the person of Elder Udosam Umotan while ibiaku had Dr Nseobong Nkanta as house of Assembly member. In 2003, Ikpa ikono had elected council chairman in the person of Barr Ekong Sampson while Ukpum minya had Hon udobong Ekpo has elected house of Assembly member. In 2007 Ikpa ibom took turn and Hon Mfon Eno Nkanteen was elected as council chairman while Ikpa ikono had Barr Ekong Sampson as house member. In 2011 Ibiaku took turn and Mr Ephraim Akpan was elected as council chairman while Ekong Sampson returned to house as elected house member from Ikpa ikono instead of Ikpa ibom having their turn as it supposed. As at then nobody saw imposition, no body protest. In 2015 what suppose to be peaceful as usual was embraced by much tussle that ended in negotiations which gave Ikpa ibom state constituency ticket in the Person of Hon Otobong Ndem while Ukpum minya have their turn to elect chairmanship which is what we are witnessing now.

QUESTIONS

1)Now that 2019 is on it way, is it that Mkpat Enin state constituency is now two term tenure?
2)Why is it that from 1999 to 2011 our male counterpart have been elected as chairman nobody protest but now that we are having a female counterpart some people go on protest claiming impositions when the primaries is jet to be conducted?
3) Are the females counterpart not having the right to be  voted for as elected chairperson in Mkpat Enin the same way the male do?
) Or are the male counterpart protesting the power of a woman as being fear of the unknown?

JUSTIFICATION
1)Every body in Mkpat Enin both female, male and youths have equal right to vote and to be voted for.
2)That said protest lack merit as PDP as not release guidelines for the election.
3) Party affairs should be treated at party Secretariat not touting in the name of protest dragging the good name of Mkpat Enin youth to mud.
4)That the said protesters lack credibility to speak in the name of the PDP as many of them are not members of PDP.

ADVICE:
Our party PDP should practice political office reshuffling so as to maintain peace in a particular area because we are in Mkpat Enin in Akwa ibom state. We are tired of Bukola Saraki in Mkpat ENIN being in political position from 2003 till date. Mkpat Enin is not kwara state. The political fortune of Mkpat Enin LGA can not lie in the hands of few cabal then we expect peace. Until we say no to our BUKOLA SARAKI  and all the factions in PDP come together before we can see peace.
