Labour Party Open Doors For More Aspirations... As Party Talk Tough On Fairness, Justice To All
Labour Party in Akwa Ibom State has appealed to all the aggrieved aspirants from other political parties who were meted with injustices during their party primaries to approach "The one big family party", the Labour Party in the state to realise their dream of serving their people in the respective wards and Local Government Areas.
This assertion was made known by the state chairman of the party elder Utip Etiebet while receiving some aspirants who contested in other political parties but were unjustly denied their mandate on Monday at Labour party office situated at 66,Uruan street in Uyo. The state chairman reminded all that Labour party is the only alternative party in the state operating silently to better the lots of the Akwa Ibomites. He assured the visiting aspirants and their supporters of fair play in the party and urged all to have faith in God and the party reiterating that the helmsman of AKISIEC has created a positive record while he served as INEC COMMISSIONER in Bauchi and other places where the government in power becomes the losers in the poll. He posited that his party believes that with the quality of candidates that the party is filing for local government elections, that soonest, the party as an alternative party will celebrate victory in the local government area elections.
