The Credible Alternative to Nigeria Way Forward- ADP

Barely three months of existence at the National level and two months in Akwa Ibom State, the leadership of Action Democratic Party (ADP) has said that ADP is the only credible political party that will ensure true democracy with focus on giving autonomy to local government areas in the country come 2019.
This was made known by the National Vice Woman Leader of the party (South-East) ,  Princess Chinwe Chike Eligwe while fielding questions from journalists at the burial of one of their members,  held at Etinan local government area last weekend.
According to her, the party had keenly observed with dismay the suffering of the masses due to poor leadership qualities in the last eighteen years in the country, noting that ADP will wipe away the tears of Nigerians from National to state and local government levels.
She specifically thanked the leadership of the party in Akwa Ibom State for the peaceful conduct of primaries and subsequent filing-in credible candidates for the December 2 local government elections, saying her party will sweep the election.
Princess Eligwe disclosed that ADP has fully paid attention to gender equality by giving equal opportunity to every members, assuring that the party will take over the Hiltop Mansion in 2019 and the Presidency at the National level to give the teaming masses the dividends of good governance.

On his part,  the state Chairman of the party,  Hon. Ubong Emmanuel said that the party has spread from ward,  local government and state level in Akwa Ibom State,  adding that with the quality of candidates presented to AKISIEC, ADP will take over the local government Councils.
He said the party has and will continue to operate with transparency by giving a sense of belonging and equal opportunity to all members.

While calling in AKISIEC for fairness and credibility in the conduct of the election, Mr. Emmanuel expressed confident that ADP will take over government both at the state and national level in 2019.

He charged Akwa Ibom people to join ADP for stability of democracy and other benefits in the state.
However,  the Uyo Senatorial District Vice Chairman of ADP, Dr. Obotuko  Ikpe expressed disappointment over what he described as failed governance and misplaced priority as exemplified in the characters of the past and present leadership of the country and Akwa Ibom State.
His word" in the last eighteen years of PDP and APC government, there is no democracy. They did not allow the poor masses to participate in the election of who is accountable to them as democracy demands. They did not give any chance to other political party to thrive  at the local government level, as such, they cannot claim to be democrats. "
He reiterated that ADP is the only credible alternative for the way forward for the Nigeria Nationhood Project, thereby calling on all and sundry to embrace the party to enhance real democracy in the system
